In situations where a geotextile will be relied on to drain well (underdrains, road bases, etc) I've heard talk that geotextiles will eventually clog and contribute to a failing assembly. Is this an eventuality? Is there anything that can be done to help avoid it (different thicknesses/porosities/material type) for different environments etc?
