I have a road reconstruction project upcoming where I need to remove a 12" pavement section for a considerable area, about 1,000 ft of 24' wide road. I have no interest trying to plane off the asphalt then the concrete if I can avoid it. I'd like to mill the entire depth for each pass.
Are most typical planing pachines used on the road today capable of doing this?
If not would they at least be capable of planing out the 8" concrete by itself full depth in one pass?
