I've seen engineers quote both underdrain sections. One simply gets porous aggregate around perforated underdrain with a wrapped sock, the other detail includes wrapping the entire perimeter of the trench with fabric and no sock on the perforated underdrain. What are the pros and cons of each from a performance standpoint?
