Sieve Analysis Test is a gradation test used to gather particle size distribution of a granular material. The size distribution is critical to the use and performance of an aggregate type or pavement design. The test is done by passing aggregate through a series of screens. The amounts resulting are calculated to be within or outside of a particular gradation design.
